Welcome to Florence Elementary School! Our school has been an integral part of the Florence community since it was built in 1932. Originally serving 1st-12th grades, it transitioned to educating students in grade K-8 after Boone County High School opened in 1954. Eventually, the old building became Florence Elementary and students in grades K-5 attended classes there. The new Florence Elementary pictured above was built in 2001.
