Mission:
The mission of Boone County Preschool is to provide students with a strong foundation through play based experiences with high expectations and early interventions.

Boone County Preschool will strive to become a united team of collaborators that advocate for students while holding each other accountable to high standards.
We will strive to be knowledgeable, nurturing, and empathetic.
Schedule:
The Preschool schedule is Monday-Thursday for a 1/2 day, no students on Fridays.
AM sessions are from 9-12 & PM sessions are from 12-3.
The AM and PM sessions are determined by your address.
There is a cap of 20 students in a classroom with 1 IECE certified teacher and 2 trained para educators.
Transportation is provided and the program is free to students that qualify.
Schools:
The Preschool classrooms are housed in the elementary school buildings.
Because of space, some of them have been combined:
Mann Elementary and New Haven Elementary classrooms are housed at New Haven Elementary
Longbranch Elementary and Stephens Elementary classrooms are housed at Stephens Elementary.
Kelly Elementary and Burlington Elementary classrooms are housed at Burlington Elementary.
Ockerman Elementary and Erpenbeck Elementary are housed at Erpenbeck Elementary.
Enrollments are done at the Boone County Preschool Enrollment Center; 9000 Spruce Dr. #121B, Florence KY.
Demographics:
There are about 600 students in the Boone County Preschool program by the end of each school year.
We start with lower numbers and add students to the classrooms as students qualify throughout the school year.
About 70% of our students are eligible with a disability.
About 30% of our students are eligible with income.
Boys make up about 60% of the student body.
Girls make up about 40% of the student body.
73% of our students are White.
14% of our students are African American.
11% of our students are Hispanic.
1% of our students are Asian.
1% of our students are two or more races.
