2026 Marching Band Halftime Show:

Who Can Participate?

1. Any high school student who is signed up to take the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, or Concert Band classes are required to participate in the marching band. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis that may include, but are not limited to, participation in a fall sport at BCHS, medical concerns, and family scheduling problems.

2. We also welcome 8th grade students from Ockerman Middle, RA Jones Middle, and Camp Ernst Middle Schools.  

• If you are currently a 7th grader and want to march as an 8th grader, you must complete this request form.  Please understand that not everyone will be accepted.  We have limited instrument availability and Mr. Barnhill will communicate with your middle school band director to ensure you are ready to play with the high school marching band.  Keep in mind that we are playing high school level music.  Students should have a great work ethic!

All camps are held at BCHS

JULY 27-31: 8AM-3PM (all students report)

AUGUST 3-7: 8AM-3PM (all students report)

8am-12pm: Outside work (marching)

12pm-1pm: Lunch (provided)

1pm-3pm: Indoor work (music/choreography)

All rehearsals are from 6pm-8:30pm

September: 3, 10, 17, 24

October: 1, 15, 22, 29
