Portrait of a Graduate

The implementation of the Portrait of  a Graduate (PoG) is a promise from the District to every family in the community.  The promise of the PoG is that BCS is preparing every graduate of BCS for a successful future.  In collaboration with over 200 stakeholders, the 5 competencies of the PoG were identified.  Students are expected to demonstrate these 5 competencies throughout their time during BCS.  At the end of 5th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade students will participate in a Defense of Learning.  The Defense of Learning is a demonstration of the 5 competencies of the Portrait of a Graduate.
