California State University, Sacramento

Class of 2004

About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Angie Brust. I have been in the Black Oak Mine school district for 17 years. I spent my first 6 years at Georgetown School as the 4th-8th grade PE teacher and Junior High Leadership. I have been at Golden Sierra since 2013 as a Physical Educator and Activities Director. I hold a Bachelors degree in Kiniseology from California State University, Sacramento. I retired from 20 years of coaching to pursue my Masters Degree in Coaching Administration. Which has lead me to my ultimate goal of Athletic Directing.

I decided to take on a teaching career to inspire young adults to live their best life by managing their health and wellness. I am always proud to be a part of a community where all my students go out of their way in the grocery store to say "hi"!!
