Providing a Supportive Environment

All ninth graders are assigned the same study block, allowing them to visit with the Team 26 teachers for extra help as needed. Additionally, all BHS students have access to tutoring via their teachers as well as their peers. BHS also offers a Writing Center, a Math Center, and an after-school Homework Club that is open to all students. Connections (similar to an advisory period) on Wednesdays and Thursdays offer more time for students to meet with teachers for assistance.

We also have a Bigs & Littles Program that pairs upperclassmen with freshman students to help answer questions and provide a familiar face in the hallways. The Bigs & Littles Program hosts several activities throughout the year for students to become more involved in the student body as they adjust to life at Bolton High.
