In addition to standard high school courses, Bolton High offers honors-level courses, Advanced Placement courses, and Early College Experience courses through the University of Connecticut.
To fulfill Bolton's language requirements and to help prepare students for post-secondary education, we offer Latin, French, & Spanish.
Weekly Schedule
All 8 class periods meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (regular days). On Wednesdays and Thursdays (block days), four classes meet for an extended period of time, allowing for in-class projects, labs, and more focused learning (see here for our current bell schedule).
All freshmen have a study period built into their schedules for their first year at BHS, giving them the ability to meet with their teachers as needed for extra help. Additionally, all freshmen are assigned to the same lunch wave.
