Since 2020, my teaching has been exclusively online.  I primarily teach undergraduate courses in child development, while also working with students directly as research and teaching assistants.

Teaching Assistant Positions!  I regularly recruit students to serve as TA's for my PSYC 309 online courses.  

Requirements: Applicants must have previously earned an A or A+ in Child Development, with preference given to those who have completed the course with Dr. Weaver.  TA's must register for 3 credits of PSYC 402. The Course is a 7-Week intensive online session. Professional and ethical behavior is required. Commitment of 15 hours a week.

Research Assistant Positions!  I regularly involve undergraduate students in the research process in the Boise State Family Lab. If you are interested in joining us, please reach out to Dr. Weaver!


Boise State Family Lab. Our lab focuses on Maternal Psychology. Projects include transition to parenthood and maternal well-being, work-life balance for mothers, assisting with Boise State Academic Mamas, and childbirth education


Requirements: 3 credits of PSYC 488 per semester (both fall and spring), GPA of at least 3.0, commit to at least 2 semesters (fall 2024 and spring 2025), attend regular research team meetings, Have completed PSYC 321 or concurrently completing PSYC 321 in the fall). Students are required to participate in an independent research project geared toward a conference presentation.
