Has anyone ever said something to you that changed your academic path? This has happened to most of us. If you teach, you have the opportunity to change your students' academic path in a way that builds them a more robust educational foundation.
Along with sharing critical disciplinary knowledge from your field, and with next to no extra time, you can help students want to learn and set them on a path toward learning throughout their lifetimes. In this workshop, we will look at just a few foundational learning concepts that can make an amazing difference in a student's life.
These are concepts you can apply in your class to help students see the power of reflection, understand their strengths and challenges better, and guide them as they build skills that will help them explore paths not yet considered.
