At Boise State University, interdisciplinary graduate programs are those that cross boundaries and involve faculty members from more than one program. The Master of Science in Cybersecurity brings together faculty members from the College of Business and Economics (Management emphasis), College of Engineering (Computer Science emphasis), and College of Arts and Sciences (Mathematics). We encourage students to utilize the broad range of resources and opportunities this interdisciplinary structure makes possible. Faculty from all of these programs make up the governing body for the MS in Cybersecurity.
Your faculty advisor serves as your primary mentor and actively supports your academic and professional success throughout your time in the program. Consistent communication with your advisor is essential for success. It is your responsibility to schedule regular meetings and frequently consult with your advisor to seek guidance.
