Against Capital the JV team knocked out 11 hits and used 13 walks to score a whopping 19 runs and move to 1-0 in conference on the year. Vinny Peters held the Eagles to 2 runs throughout the contest only allowing 2 hits and limiting Capital to 5 baserunners overall while striking out 9 of the 20 batters he faced. Nick Walborn and Will Nafzger both doubled in the game, and Walborn added a triple. Walborn paced the team with 4 RBI and also scored 2 runs in the contest to keep the offense rolling.

Saturday the JV team started the day off right with another dominant victory. Will Nafzger, Austin Engroff, Brody Engroff, and Dallin Welch each supplied 3 RBI in what was a balanced offensive attack in the win. Nick Walborn and Rocco Bonacorsi each threw 2 innings for the Wolves on the bump and only allowed 5 baserunners total through 4 innings, while striking out 8 Husky hitters.
