AVID is an elective year-long course that prepares students for college and career readiness and success using a rigorous curriculum including study groups, motivational activities, and study skills. Students engage in activities centered around exploring college and career options and their own agency. To engage and challenge students and support their academic and personal growth, lessons use writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading (WICOR).
