My name is Bernard Turrittin. This is my 11th year here at Les Bois Junior High, before that I had been teaching English for 13 years at Middleton High School. There I had taught Honor's Freshman English, Sophomore English and Junior English, as well as Yearbook. I also have a Minor in Economics and enjoy any chance I get to discuss those topics. I am a graduate of Boise State University and an avid fan of both Bronco football and basketball. I am very proud to be a teacher here at Les Bois. I have lived here in Columbia Village for 23 years and all of my children have gone through Trailwind, Les Bois and Timberline. I love being a part of this community and all that it has to offer. Being a teacher is not just something that I do, it is something that I am, and as such, I cannot imagine doing anything else as a career. My hope is that my efforts will in some small way better the lives of those students that come into my class, even if they do not fully understand it right now.
