Grading

Grading Policy

We will be using the standard grading scale for this class.

• A=90-100%

• B=80-89%

• C=70-79%

• D=60-69%

• F=50-59%

I accept any and all late work for complete earned credit. You may retake any work that you would like to redo for a better grade. This must be arranged by you. Once you have redone the work you must email me that you have completed the redo and then tell me which class and period you are in, along with the specific assignment. The higher of the two grades will be the recorded grade. In addition, any work that is not turned in at all will receive a 50% as the lowest grade possible. No zeros will be used.

I am using a 4 point grading scale this year in which I am looking at level of competency for the skills we are using. Scale:

4- 100%

3.5- 95%

3- 90%

2.5- 80% (Considered Competent)

2- 70%

1.5- 65%

1- 60%

Below 1- 50%
