As a school social worker I support students academically and socially. I provide social, emotional and academic interventions and connect students and families to community resources. In addition, I promote and support student success through:
Collaborate with school personnel to assess student's social/emotional obstacles to academic success
Work with students individually and in small groups
Link students and families with school and community resources

About me:
I have been a social worker for about 15 years. This is my 6th year as a school social worker and my 6th year with the Boise School District.
In true Hufflepuff fashion, I have a passion for community, collective well-being, individual potential and education.
I love being outside, having creative outlets, reading, and spending time with people who bring me joy. and chocolate. I LOVE chocolate.
Schedule:
I am at Riverglen full time.
I support Shadow Hills and Pierce Park as needed.
