• Tuition-free to eligible young people and provides housing, meals, basic medical care, a living allowance, hands-on training, and preparation for a career.

• Students are provided a highly structured learning environment with expectations that are reflective of the work place.

• The self-paced career technical training focuses on industry standards and physical practicum, as well as independent living skills, work place social skills and leadership opportunities.

• Students who are successful Job Corps graduates demonstrate a strong desire to become self-sufficient, self-discipline and motivation, adherence to policies and expectations, and take responsibility for their actions and success.
