Hello Frank Church High School Parent/Guardians and Students,
The PSAT will be held at Frank Church on Wednesday, October 22nd for 10th & 11th-graders.
9th & 12th-grade students will stay home for a day of asynchronous learning. This test helps students prepare to take the SAT College Entrance Exam, which takes place during the spring semester of their Junior year of high school. It is a required test and attendance is important. There is no Makeup for the PSAT. Testing rosters will be posted at school after the start of quarter 2 if a student would like to clarify whether they are scheduled to test.
Test-takers:
You will need to arrive between 9:00 - 9:20 am. Testing will begin no later than 9:30 am and will conclude by approximately 12:00 - 12:30 pm. Students will be assigned a testing room upon arrival. Once testing has begun, students will not be allowed to enter the testing room and will need to report to the cafeteria. Cell phones will not be allowed once testing has begun. After testing has concluded lunch will be served. There are NO afternoon classes. Students will be released to go home after the test/lunch. School buses will depart at the regularly scheduled time of 3:10 pm; if a student would like to leave before buses depart, they will need to find their own mode of transportation or take the City Bus.
Testers can study for the PSAT by visiting the College Board website.
DTEC classes will still be held on October 22nd for any non-test-takers; all buses will run. DTEC attendance will be excused for test-takers.
If you have any questions about test day, please contact Katie Omercevic, College & Career Counselor: katie.omercevic@boiseschools.org
