DECA first became a student organization at Capital in 1966. Since then, members have greatly contributed to the school, sponsoring events like the Make-A-Wish and The Royal Ball (Elementary Dance). Alumni have benefited from the skills, experiences, and connections built through their experiences in DECA

Establish communication with all executive members, create meeting agendas and expectations for executives and general members
VP of Leadership
Organizing and executing all community events, organizing subcommittees, managing volunteers, and communicating with all members
VP of Marketing
Send out emails for reminders about meetings and events, help with social media, and take notes at all meetings

Track meeting attendance for both general and executives, keep track of member dues, order club merchandise, prepare for Club Rush, and find new members
VP of Finance (SBE)
Weekly scheduling, check-in on employees, ordering and picking up products, notifying when supply is low, creating tracking system, payment, SBE certification, creating promotions
