Email Accounts

Monongalia County students are issued TWO email addresses, one from the state and one from the county. Each email address has a purpose. Please follow these guidelines for student email accounts.

Students use microsoft outlook to communicate with teachers. These email accounts have the student's username and are followed by @stu.k12.wv.us They should use this email to send questions to teachers. To access this email, students can go to the school website and click check email at the top! Passwords to student outlook accounts are the same as the student's chromebook password.

Students are also assigned a google email address. This address is the student's username and ends in @boe.mono.k12.wv.us Students are automatically logged in on this account when they sign into their county provided chromebook. This email is for students to access the G Suite products, like google classroom and google meet, to enhance their educational experience. Students do not need to log into this email.
