Clay Battelle: January 8, 2024

Morgantown High School: January 4 & 5, 2024

University High School: January 4 & 5, 2024

EXCEL: January 8, 2024

During the week of January 8, 2024, attend the MTEC Tour with your high school. Students will tour MTEC to explore each program, meet instructors and students, and see typical hands-on activities for each program.

MTEC's online application opens on Thursday, Janaru 4, 2024. Don't miss this opportunity to enroll in MTEC for the 2024-2025 school year! Students must apply annually if they wish to begin a new program. If a student was on a waiting list for the 2024-2025 school year, he/she will need to complete a new application for the 2024-2025 school year.

Prospective students must participate in an interview with a program instructor and an assessment to be considered for admittance to MTEC. Students will schedule interviews at the time of their application. The scheduling calendar is embedded in the MTEC application.

Each applicant will receive an admission score. The admission score will include three data points: interview score, attendance, and grades. Points will be awarded for students based on GPA and current attendance records. Scores will be entered electronically and combined to form the admission score. Students will be ranked based on these scores. The top scoring students will be placed in their #1 choice program. Students not placed into their #1 option will be placed into option #2 or #3. More details are located on the Interview page of this site.

If students have any questions, they can reach out to their counselors or call MTEC at 304-291-9240.
