Mission
The mission of the Theology Department is to help our students become disciples of Christ by providing them with the knowledge and tools for them to understand, internalize and intellectually embrace the tenets and doctrine of our faith.

Encouraging a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to the values expressed in the gospels;
Developing the skills and appreciation necessary to interpret Sacred Scripture and the Traditions of the Catholic Church;
Promoting an active and genuine participation in the Liturgy of the Church and cultivating a habit of personal prayer;
Instilling a desire to answer Jesus' call to service; and
Inspiring a spirit of involvment in the issues of peace and justice in our world.
