Back from our visit to the farm, we split into international teams and we cooked dishes together for the social dinner.

Vegetable muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 leek

  • salt, pepper

  • 250 g flour

  • 1 packet of baking powder

  • One pinch of salt, pepper

  • 4 eggs

  • 70 ml olive oil

  • 150 g grated cheese

Wash the leek and cut it into thin strips. If it is freshly picked, you can use the green part.

Weigh the flour and place it in a bowl.

Add the baking powder, one pinch of salt and pepper.

Break the eggs and add the oil, the leek and the grated cheese.

Mix but not so long.

Pour the resulting mixture into muffin tins.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.

Apple "tarte"

Ingredients

  • 6 nice apples (apples for cooking)

  • apple “puree” (if you do not have any, cook 6 apples cut into small pieces during 15 minutes with one spoon sugar)

  • one pastry

Place the pastry in the bottom of the pie dish.

Cover with apple puree (2 cm thick).

Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.

Place the apple slices nicely on top.

Sprinkle with a little sugar.

Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

Leek "tarte"

Ingredients

  • 2 leeks (if it is freshly picked, you can use the green part)

  • one pastry

  • 3 eggs

  • 100 g grated cheese

  • 2 heaping tablespoons of fresh cream

  • salt and pepper

Wash the leek and cut it into thin strips. If it is freshly picked, you can use the green part.

In bowl, mix all the ingredients : break and beat the eggs, add on pinch salt and pepper, 2 tablespoons of fresh cream, cheese and the leek cut.

Place the pastry in the bottom of the pie dish.

Add the mix of ingredients.

Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.

Vegetable makis

Ingredients

  • nori seaweed sheets

  • cooked maki rice

  • carrot and cucumber pieces (you can add any tasty vegetable you wish depending on seasons)

Spread the sheet of nori seaweed on a baking paper.

Place a strip of cooked rice, going all the way to the edge.

Add vegetable sticks.

Roll up and to close the rolls, add a little water.

Ask an adult to cut small slices.
