Coaching Staff

Carlo Cordon

31 Years at BHS

Coach Cordon teaches social studies at Glenwood Middle School and coaches in the summer at Applewood Swim Club.  He has been teaching at Glenwood for the past 19 years.  Coach Cordon was also a prominent name on the swim team’s Top-25 list for many years in the 500 freestyle until he was ritualistically ousted from the list by Scott Dickens on a cold, dark and stormy day in the winter of 2001.

Coach Cordon has earned level four certifications by the American Swimming Coaches Association.  Only 10 percent of all swimming coaches in the world have reached this certification level.  Coach Cordon has taken BHS swimmers to the OHSAA State Championship meet in twenty-two of the past twenty-three seasons
