Name of Bridge: Viking Bridge
Type of Bridge: Drawbridge
Bridge Engineer: Regina Sekera
About My Bridge:
I watched a show about Vikings called Dragon Legend. I thought the way Vikings lived was so interesting. I named my bridge Viking Bridge because Vikings can cross it. Where they live there are many rivers and valleys so they need the bridge to cross. I made a drawbridge so Vikings would not have to swim in the cold winter to get across
Other Viking villages can cross the river to come for feasts and the kids can play together. They cross the bridge using horses and wagons. Below the Viking Bridge there is a canal where the Vikings have their boats that they use to travel. The Viking Bridge is attached to a castle tower and has a metal cable pulled manually by a crank. It has a deck made of wood where Vikings cross it to go to other kingdoms with their dragon pets.
