B 'n G Psychological Services, PLLC
We are committed to keeping our clients, their loved ones, our loved ones, and ourselves as healthy as possible. In order to provide in-person services, we take careful precautions and follow protocols supported by the CDC and/or Lexington-Fayette County Health Department designed to help keep everyone safer from exposure, sickness, and possible death. If COVID, flu, other viruses, or other health concerns arise, we will do what we need to do to keep folks safe, including increasing the use of telehealth.
Anyone who comes to our office assumes the risk of exposure to COVID and/or other public health dangers. This risk may be higher for clients who travel to B ‘n G by public transportation, taxi, or ridesharing service.
Minimized Exposure
Clients and parents who choose in-person services agree to keep appointments only when they have been entirely symptom free for five days. When we are concerned that someone may be ill or may have been exposed to an illness, whether or not they have symptoms, we cancel in-person appointments and try to re-schedule through telehealth, as appropriate. We encourage clients to take precautions between appointments to minimize their own and their loved ones’ exposure to COVID and other viruses.
Vaccinations
As Kentucky Health Service Providers, we were vaccinated in 2021 and, as boosters are available, we get them. We strongly encourage clients to get vaccinated to protect themselves and everyone else.
Clean Air
We have HEPA air purifiers in the waiting room and therapy rooms. We also turn on ceiling fans all over the house whenever clients are present. When the weather permits, we open windows.
Masking
Although we stopped routine masking in spring 2022, we absolutely mask and we ask our clients and parents to mask whenever anyone asks us to.
Client Confidentiality
We ask that no one enter our office if they might have COVID or other virus, if they have had a positive test within a week, or if they are waiting for a test result. If a client receives a positive result for the coronavirus or other virus, after they recently have been in our office, we appreciate them notifying us so that we can take precautions for ourselves and other clients. No one will be told who tested positive.
