The Lilongwe International School Leagues (LISL) were created in 2022 and included 8 schools (Bishop Mackenzie, Paramount, Mount Sinai, Lilongwe Academy, Lilongwe Private School, ABC, Bambino, Good Shepherd) playing in one sport; soccer. In 2023/24 Girls Netball and Boys/Girls Contact Rugby were officially added as LISL events. In 2024/25, girls and boys basketball were added.
