Math Team

Nassau County Interscholastic Mathematics League (NCIML)

The math team comprises of students in all grades who have an interest and/or love of mathematics. The math team meets weekly to solve higher-level math problems that develop students' level of Math skills and knowledge. The team participates in monthly competitions against all schools in Nassau County.

It is a fun and laid-back environment where students of all abilities are welcome.

Math Honor Society

Each high school in Bellmore-Merrick has its own chapter of the Math Honor Society, celebrating students who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in mathematics.

To be eligible for induction, students must have earned a 93 or higher unweighted average in Algebra 1, Geometry, & Algebra 2.

*Please note: Individual buildings may have additional requirements needed for induction.
