The Bellmore-Merrick Math Department is committed to providing students with a high-quality, comprehensive mathematics education that meets the needs of all learners.  Our program offers rigorous and engaging courses at every level, from foundational math through AP Calculus BC and Statistics offerings.  Students have the opportunity to pursue pathways that match their individual stregths and interests, while building a strong foundation for future academic and career success.  

In every classroom, we emphasize critcal thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to make meaningful connections between mathematics and the real world.  Through collaborative work, technology integration, and real-world applications, students gain not only the skills necessary to excel in math, but also the confidence to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.  By the time they graduate Bellmore-Merrick students will understand the importance, relevance, and beauty of mathematics in everyday life.
