Use Zoom or Collaborate to Meet with Students Online

How to access your BMCC Zoom Account


  1. If you already logged in to any account at zoom.us, sign out with button in upper right.

  2. Navigate to bmcc-cuny.zoom.us/.

  3. Click "Sign In" button.

  4. Enter your BMCC user name and password.

  5. If you already have an account associated with your BMCC email, you will be asked to switch over the account. See video to right for details.

  6. When you sign in you will see a confirmation that you are part of our Zoom account administrator's dcaldon@bmcc.cuny.edu group; click 'Sign In Now' and use your BMCC email.

Learn the basics of how to schedule a meeting and invite others to participate. If using your BMCC Pro Account, start at bmcc-cuny.zoom.us, click Sign In, and then navigate to Meetings tab on left once on Zoom web page.

Collaborate has many tools and features you can use to run your live sessions synchronously. The course rooms tool includes a collaborative whiteboard tool that allows you to interact with peers and your instructor in real time, as well as file (for example, PowerPoint slides) and screen sharing.
