Rachel Owen is a Junior at BVW with a passion for photography. She is a member of the school's Band, Theater, Color, and Winter Guard, and ASL club. She loves to take pictures of the things around her that bring her joy, whether that be friends, family, large spaces, or the small things around her. Rachel finds that when she has a camera in her hands that she sees the world in a different light, and that she feels free from her mind. She hopes that whoever sees her artwork will either look at that item or space differently after seeing it.

This is a picture of my(mostly) black cat PITA, whose name is an acronym for "Pain in the butt." He is a tiny little cat found in a ditch in Texas, brought up to Leavenworth, Kansas, via an RV, and is an indoor-outdoor cat who is a small little menace to society.
This is a picture of a Stained Glass artwork in my Grandparents house that I used embroidery on to make the Pelican more pronounced. Except I took some fun creative freedom and made the Pelican rainbow.
