This is a heating pad. It is one source of heat that helps your gecko stay warm! It should not cover more than half the cage, so that your gecko has a warm and a cool side. An alternate version is a heating lamp.
These are the three possible hides you can have in your cage. At minimum, you should have a warm and a cool hide, but moist hides provide many benefits. You can either make your own, or buy hides. Different ranges of hides will help your gecko stay warm and cold based on their temperatures! They also help make them feel safe.
This is a good example of a thermometer you need in your leopard gecko's cage. It will help you tell if your gecko's cage is too hot or cold, helping avoid health problems. A hygrometer is another version you also need in your cage, to tell if it is too humid or too dry.
This is a type of food you need for your gecko! You will need to buy live crickets or mealworms, based on your gecko's preference. It is important after about 20 minutes of having the live food in the cage to remove them, as they may annoy your gecko or cause stress by leaving them there for prolonged periods.
