Tudor home
The tudor style home was originated in England and was made in 1485 and 1558. The tudor exterior features are most common for steep gabled roofs, massive masonry chimneys, grouped windows with diamond shaped panes, with arched doors. The tudor style features dark, exposed timber beams, ornate wood paneling, massive stone or brick fireplaces, and narrow, leaded-glass windows.
Famous example
This famous tudor building is very famous in England, and is named the Hampton Court Palace. And was renowned as Henry VIII’s.
Updates
In the new updated tudor home I would preserve things to keep the natural tudor look but also keeping it to look new and updated. What I am keeping for my new updated home is I want to keep the windows and there shape that is a big part of this design and they are important. Another thing I want to keep is all the stone, but change the colors, I also want to keep the arched door that is the main thing that makes up the tudor home, the big chimney also is staying, and the large points that make up the roof, I also want to keep the gabbled lines on the points of the roof.
