Student Editors:  Spring Issue 2023

My name is Abby Nyberg. I am a junior in my second year at BlueSky. I love writing poetry and fiction works. I published my poem “Tides” in the Winter 2023 issue of SkyWriting and hope to publish more. I’m so excited and honored to be an editor for the journal, and I look forward to seeing everyone’s work!

My name is Jennifer Reierson, and I am in my senior year of high school. I have been writing for three years now, and I love how the pen and paper opens my mind up to life. I am looking forward to hearing others voices here at BlueSky!”

Student Editors:  Winter Issue 2023

“I’m Kaylee Nickisch and I’m in my senior year of high school! I’ve been going to BlueSky for about two years now and have been writing for over seven. Last year, I published my Junior Project:  Sleeping in the Garden in the first issue of SkyWriting. I love writing, and I am super excited to have the chance to be an editor for SkyWriting.  I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!"

"My name is Emma Smith, and I am in my junior year of high school. I have been going to BlueSky for around a year now and can’t wait to continue. I have had an affinity for writing and editing since I could pick up a pencil. I am very excited to be a student editor for  the next issue of SkyWriting and help amplify student voices.”
