6.25 hours per week Salary: Grade A - £12.65/hour
We require enthusiastic, committed, patient and motivated people who enjoy working with young children to join our Mealtime Assistant team. The roles will involve ensuring and monitoring the safety and good behaviour of children at lunchtime in all areas of the school, including classrooms, playground/multi-use games area (MUGA) and the dining hall. The successful applicant will take an active role in promoting and delivering a healthy eating programme and support positive interaction during lunchtimes. We have a vacancy for a fixed term position which is required, at this point, until the end of the school year and also a casual position that we will be required to work as and when is requested to cover staff absence.

We are seeking to appoint a confident, creative Early Years Practitioner with medical needs experience to join our exceptional Early Years team. The role will involve supporting all aspects of provision within our EYFS, facilitating sustained shared thinking and characteristics of effective learning, taking responsibility for early reading, phonics and maths teaching, and implementing tailored intervention programmes where appropriate.
Candidates will need to have a genuinely child-centred approach and demonstrate a profound understanding of effective Early Years practice and pedagogy. There is a requirement to undertake a specific medical procedure for a child within the Early Years. Although relevant training will be given, a previous medical background or qualification would be desirable.
A commitment to inclusive Early Years practice, a passion for working with young children and an excellent understanding of how to apply the EYFS curriculum successfully, are essential requirements for this post. Experience working with 2-year-olds and multilingual pupils would be advantageous. Level 2 Early Years Qualification is an essential qualification for this post; Level 3 Early Years Qualification and Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable. The successful applicant will be a committed, ambitious but reflective practitioner, keen to play an active part in the further development of our school.
