The objective of this course is to aid the student in development of a life-long process of positive lifestyle management that seeks to integrate the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical dimensions of a self for a longer, more productive, and higher quality life. Students will also acquire knowledge of physical fitness concepts understand the influence of lifestyle on health and fitness, and begin to develop an optimal level of fitness.

The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop advanced knowledge and skills in weight training, further improve muscular strength and endurance, and further enhance self-image. Emphasis will be placed on advanced lifting techniques, nutrition, speed, quickness, and fundamentals.

This course is designed to develop knowledge and skills in weight training, further improve muscular strength and endurance, and further enhance self-image while increasing fitness levels through strength training, flexibility, plyometrics, agility/quickness drills, and speed development.
