I just wanted to say thank you! The CTE classes have helped me so much with choosing my career. Going into High School, I knew I wanted to be in the medical field, but I was unsure where to start. Now being a senior and in my final months of High School I look back and see how I grew relationships with not only my peers, but my teachers. They have been such a strong light in my life and I know I can always count on them. This week was our last week of rotation at Shannondale Assisted Living for the Nursing Education program and my group was with a few students from an area school. I got the chance to talk to one of the girls and she was telling me how she would love to see a live birth before the class was over, and I asked her if they had a clinical class that went to the hospital. She said no, and asked me if WB did, and I said yes. I told her about our CTE program and she told me that she would have loved to have had the opportunity to get to see some of the stuff I told her about. This conversation made me think of all of the stuff that I saw in a completely different way. I can’t explain how thankful I am to William Blount, the staff, and the CTE program. I have enjoyed every minute of high school and it will never forget how good y’all have been to me! Thank you!
