Hello, Eagleton Royal Family! This is my fifth year as a Royal, having served previously at William Blount High School. I have been an educator for twenty-five years, teaching all high school grades and levels in East and Middle Tennessee and in South Carolina. I taught as an adjunct English instructor for Walters State Community College from 2010-2015. I am a 1995 graduate of Carson-Newman University (English) and a 2009 graduate of Columbia College (Education-Divergent Learning). I will be serving as a student dean this year. I will also be sponsoring Student Council. We will be implementing two new initiatives this year: Renaissance Learning and Chick-fil-A leadership academy (be ready for heavy recruiting!). I have Two grown children, Nikki and barrett. I enjoy kayaking, traveling to nerdy destinations, eating at dive restaurants, and watching/reading anything scary or mysterious!
