What is Edgenuity?
Edgenuity is a virtual learning platform that allows students to work through a credit recovery course that has been tailored to Blount County Schools' expectations for student learning. Students will be expected to complete a minimum of 10% in the course they are working on each business day prior to 4:00 p.m. until the completion of summer school on June 1st. Teachers monitor student work and will be reaching out to students and parents frequently via email.

Students can review the video on the left in order to familiarize themselves with the Edgenuity platform ahead of beginning their coursework.

In order for students to meet the required minimum of 10% in the course they are working on prior to 4:00 p.m. each day, students will need to establish a schedule to meet their needs. As students complete the course, they'll be able to proceed to the next course or complete requirements earlier.
Students who complete their assigned course(s) prior to the end date of summer school will receive an email notification of their completion and be asked to turn in their Chromebook at a specified date/time which will be listed in the email.
