We have a deep respect for play.
We have seen that through project based, emergent curriculum, that we can weave in appropriate academically challenging, intellectual experiences.
We are a constructivist program that is Reggio-inspired. Constructivism is a theory of cognitive development rooted in Piaget, Vygotsky, Montessori and many more. We subscribe to the theory that children learn best when engaging in hands on, meaningful experiences, in social situations.
Our greatest contribution to children's education is to create an environment where children are secure in their relationships, play is honored and their thinking is "provoked."

In our experience, children with separation anxiety have a hard time getting comfortable when they only attend a couple of days a week.
We think the schedule that helps kids feel comfortable at school, in our program, is 4-5 mornings per week 9-12am.
Tuition is due the month prior to the month of attendance. No proration is offered for holidays, sick days or vacations.
Bloom Preschool's Manhattan Beach campus accepts Connections for Children. You must apply directly with Connections for Children.
