Principles Events

About Principles Events

Principles events are for individual first-year DECA members in their freshman or sophomore year. These events and exams cover several core business concepts. 

Principle events are for first-year competitors in grades 9 to 11. Anyone who has competed before, or is a senior, cannot be in a principles event.  There are fewer performance indicators in the role plays. All principles events take the same exam in Business Administration Core
