CURRICULUM

Language Arts - In Reader's Workshop,  we will be building our reading life.  We will read Stone Fox and explore many reading strategies to build up our own stamina for our independent reading.

                           In Writer's Workshop we will be writing personal Narrative stories. These stories will be centered around our own life's small moments.

Math - We will begin a brand new Math curriculum this year called Eureka Math2.  Module 1 will focus on beginning multiplication and place value.  Study those times tables!!

Science -  Weather and Climate will be our first unit in Science.  We will explore what makes weather, types of weather, clouds, extreme weather and many more interesting topics. 

Social Studies -  In Social Studies we will begin the year exploring our world's geography in our Young Citizens text.
