Biography

All About Me....

• My name is Catherine Alonso. I have been a teacher in Bloomfield my entire career, since 2004! I began my career teaching languages at the elementary level throughout the district. In 2012 I began teaching Kindergarten at Berkeley. Kindergarten is so much fun and I am so excited to start this new year. I graduated from Caldwell University. I have a background in languages. For 6 years I taught French and 2 years of Spanish. I am fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. I love to travel and spending time with my family. My husband is also a teacher and we have two wonderful children. I can't wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!!
