My name is Mary Boese and I am excited to be the school counselor here at Bloomer Middle School!
I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Organizational Communications at UW-Eau Claire, and then went on to receive my Masters Degree in School Counseling at UW-Stout in 2015. I grew up in Bloomer, and have continued to live here for a majority of my life. In past years, I worked as a school counselor at Riverview Middle School in Barron for two years. There, I realized how much I loved working with middle-school aged students -they are the BEST! I was absolutely thrilled when the opportunity arose for me to work in Bloomer with this age group! This is now my eighth year in the Bloomer School District.
Beyond my love of working with students in a counseling capacity, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing volleyball, and going out on the lake at our family cabins. I have two daughters, Tenley and Blake and a son named Brooks. We also have one dog, named Mazi, that loves living in the country!
I am beyond excited to work with the students, staff, parents and community of Bloomer, and will do my best to help each and every student succeed in my three areas of focus: academics, career, and social/emotional health. Here’s to a fantastic school year!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at 715-568-2800 ext. 2111 or by e-mail at mary.boese@bloomer.k12.wi.us
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mary Boese
