  3. *Please note: If you already have an existing Parent Portal Account with your older children, you will NOT need to register for a new account.  Watch this video for more information.

• Follow the steps for the registration process online.  

• Once the campus has accepted the enrollment of your student, the campus will issue you a unique ParentPortal ID for each student, allowing you to add the student to your ParentPortal account.  With a ParentPortal ID, you can add the student to your ASCENDER ParentPortal account complete additional paperwork, and complete Returning Student Registration during the registration window. Parent Portal  ID Request Form if needed.

• **PLEASE NOTE** - you must not forget this step.  Please contact the office for your Parent Portal ID so that you can finish setting up your child's account. Once you have linked your child to your account you will be able to fill out additional registration papers as well as maintain data throughout the year. 

• **PLEASE NOTE** - SETTING UP YOUR PARENT PORTAL IS REQUIRED.  YOU WILL NEED THIS THROUGHOUT YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION WHILE ENROLLED AT BISD.  

• AFTER YOU SET UP YOUR PORTAL YOU WILL NEED TO APPEAR IN PERSON TO FINISH SOME OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. 

• IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD ONLINE, WE WILL HAVE CHROMEBOOKS IN THE OFFICE FOR YOU TO SET UP YOUR PORTAL AND REGISTER.

Be prepared to provide the following documents in order to enroll your student:

• Proof of Residence - for requests from parents living out-of-district, please complete the Transfer Student Application here.

• Birth Certificate

• Social Security Card

• Record of Immunizations

• Drivers License
