Week 4 Term 2 - Using Polite Words

WALT - Show kindness and respect to others by the way you talk to them

What polite words should we use and when?

  • Thank you - When someone helps you, gives you something, lets you play

  • Please - When we want something or if someone asks if you want something

  • No thank you - If you don't want something

  • Excuse me - When you need to get through, if you let out bodily gas, if you don't hear somebody

  • Sorry - If you hurt someone

  • You're welcome - When someone thanks you

  • Hello, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, How are you? - When you see somebody, when someone greets you

Week 3 Term 2 - Gratitude

WALT - Identify the positive aspects of your lives, the things you are grateful for

As a class, what are we grateful for?

  • We are grateful for our school values

  • We have friends and people that care about us

  • We have someone to teaach us

  • Grateful for each other

  • Grateful that we have the opportunity to be responsible

  • We have Chromebooks of our own and also Chromebooks in the school to use

  • All of the breakfast, morning tea and lunch that is provided. Having Monica and the year 8's serve/cook lunch

We all have mana. We inherit it. We earn it.
