The BES Library welcomed guest readers for our second grade students. Each class had a different guest reader from the Blairstown community.

Mrs. McDonald's class welcomed Blairstown Mayor Rob Moorhead (pictured left). Mrs. Hineline's class had guest reader Bob Halberstadt, a Blairstown Firefighter and EMT. Lastly, Mrs. Scalise's and Mrs. Larena's homeroom was lucky enough to have our own SRO Coronato read to them.

Destiny Discover is our resource to access the library's collection. Students can search for printed titles, ebooks, audio books, and interactive ebooks. Account usernames and passwords were given to students in September. Students in grades 3-6 will practice logging in during library class using Clever.

Check the library class schedule here. Each student in grades 1-6 can check out 2 books per 6 day cycle. Preschool and kindergarten students can choose one book each cycle. If a student forgets to return their books, they can still check out one book. Please remember to return library books when they are due so others can enjoy them too!
