My name is Ms. Katnik and I am the Counselor at Blair Oaks Intermediate School. I am fortunate to be able to work with the students at Blair Oaks Intermediate through counseling classes, individual counseling, and small group counseling. I am committed to meeting the needs of each and every student, which is only made possible with the support of our staff members and parents. Blair Oaks Intermediate Counselor
To share a little bit about myself, I grew up in Taos, Missouri. I attended St. Francis Xavier School for grades K-8 and then completed grades 9-12 at Blair Oaks High School. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Truman State University in 2017. I then worked for a year at the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline before starting my master’s program. While completing my master’s program, I worked as a substitute teacher for the following school districts: Jefferson City, Fulton, New Bloomfield, and Blair Oaks School District. In 2021, I received my Masters of Education degree in School Counseling with a certification for grades K-8 from Lincoln University. I then accepted the position of School Counselor at Blair Oaks Intermediate School in 2021. It is a privilege to get to work with the wonderful students and staff here at Blair Oaks!
