The Student Ambassador Program is designed to pipeline students into real opportunities in the technology industry.
Ambassadors gain exposure to the tech ecosystem through:
networking with professionals
hands-on experiences
workshops and training
volunteering and community impact
participation in industry events
Our goal is to help students build skills, gain visibility, and develop meaningful connections that support their career journey.
Student Ambassadors support the program by helping share updates, events, and opportunities across our community platforms while also participating in events, volunteering, and representing the program through outreach initiatives and engagement with the broader community.
Yes. To remain eligible for the program and future participation, Student Ambassadors must:

Participate in at least three BIT community service events per year
These expectations help ensure ambassadors remain engaged and actively contributing to the community.
Student Ambassadors are expected to attend one virtual committee meeting per month (about one hour) and may attend optional chapter meetings and events throughout the year. Meeting times will be determined after the committee is formed and based on the best availability of participating students.
Yes. Students who participate in eligible activities and events can receive documented volunteer hours for their involvement in community service and program initiatives.
