The Blacks In Technology (BIT) Student Ambassador Program exists to extend the mission of Blacks In Technology into college campuses by developing student leaders who are committed to technical excellence, representation, and innovation.
Founded in 2008 and established in 2012, Blacks In Technology is the largest community and media organization focused on increasing the representation and participation of Black professionals in the technology industry. Through events, media, community initiatives, and global networking, BIT continues to “Stomp the Divide” by setting new standards for technical achievement and global innovation.
Our Student Ambassador Program carries that mission forward at the collegiate level.
We build campus-based leaders who:
Expand awareness of Blacks In Technology initiatives
Connect students to mentorship and professional networks
Increase participation in high-impact opportunities designed to provide hands on in the field experience
Create sustainable pipelines between universities and the broader tech ecosystem
