Job Title: Groundworker Apprenticeship

The business provides a wide range of civil engineering and highway construction services, utilising its highly skilled internal workforce and a network of subcontractors. Job Title:
Groundworker Apprenticeship
Contract:Permanent following 3 month probationary period
Hourly Rate:£8.47
Location:Site Based Role. Base Depot: Alvanley Industrial Estate, Stockport Road East, Bredbury, Stockport SK6 2DJ
Working Hours:39 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 07.30 – 16.00 (inclusive of unpaid breaks)
Friday: 07.30 – 15.00 (inclusive of unpaid breaks)
Holidays:
29 days including bank holidays
7 days are to be taken at the Christmas Shutdown
Remuneration Package:
Negotiable (depending on qualifications and experience)

Redrow Homes are looking for an individual who is passionate about bricklaying and other aspects of building to join as an Apprentice Bricklayer. As an apprentice you will be studying towards a level 2 apprenticeship in Bricklaying which will include both theory and practical skills for a duration of 18-months.
Your time as an Apprentice Bricklayer will be split between working on site with an experienced tradesperson learning from their years of expertise and, intensive block release training at the NHBC Brickwork Training Hub in Tamworth or Cambridge.

National Apprenticeship Week is fast approaching and we have some huge virtual events taking place to get your students excited about some of the core industries they could work in once they leave school / college.

Ameon
Ameon is a prestigious engineering brand in its field specialising in the design and construction of Mechanical, Electrical, Utility and Renewable Engineering services within all types of commercial developments including Hotels, High Rise residential buildings, Sports Stadiums, Hospitals, Health Centres, Schools, Further Education Blocks, Higher Education Facilities, Offices, Factories, law Courts, Specialist Manufacturing Facilities and just about everything else in between.
Ameon has operated a degree apprenticeship programme for over 20 years with all graduates still currently employed within the business and at positions up to and including company Director. The company is committed to apprenticeships at all levels and its degree apprenticeship is a five-year programme run in conjunction with UCLAN leading to Incorporated Engineer (IENG) status which can be further supported to Chartered Engineer (CEng) as your Career develops.
What do I need?
Applicants are expected to have a passion for engineering and the desire to work collaboratively with colleagues and other design team members. A Level grades A* to B in Maths, Physics or Chemistry are preferred; however, alternative qualifications may be acceptable provided at least A level standard in Maths or a Science is demonstrated.
What do I get?
Graduates will obtain a BENG (Hons) degree in Building Services & Sustainable Engineering and would be registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IENG) with the Engineering Council whilst also receiving in house training in design calculation software, 3D modelling and Building Information Modelling (BIM) techniques, system design, quantity surveying, contract and project management and cost estimation.
Training and development does not stop on graduation. Graduate Engineers receive ongoing training and professional development through to Senior Engineer and beyond.
The starting salary is £12000.00 per annum, rising to approximately £30,000.00 on completion and continues to rise through the company pay scales for technicians and ultimately Senior Engineer pay scales.
